Facts and figures

The Masserberg Tunnel passes under Masserberg between kilometre points 52.853 and 53.904, a length of 1,051 metres. This tunnel also has a two-track tube with a maximum excavated cross-section of around 160 square metres. The tunnel tube created using mining methods has a length of 1,011 metres. The Masserberg Tunnel passes under undeveloped and primarily forested land, including a number of forest tracks and transport routes.
